Our course is for anyone in any industry to give them the essential knowledge and skills to save guard the lives of infants and small children during an emergency situation.

As the course is taken as theory and practical, learners will also gain that confidence by having practical experience using the techniques learned throughout the theory element of the course.

It takes 10 hours (6 hours guided learning hours + 4 for written assessment).

Knowledge will be tested throughout the course and there will be an exam at the end.
The practical element is assessed through the trainer’s observations.

There are no formal entry requirements for this course other than a good grasp of the English language and a willingness to learn about First Aid.

The course will focus on increasing or refreshing your understanding of the Paediatric First Aid actions required of you.
