Assessment Method
The Open Book Assessment (OBE) will be by an end of course examination (25 questions: 22 multiple choice questions and three short written answers) and the trainer review. The learner must pass the exam and pass all three elements of the trainer review.

There are no formal entry requirements for this course other than a good grasp of the English language and a willingness to learn about good safety practices.

The course covers a range of topics including: law; Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 (CDM); management systems; risk assessment and method statements; inspections, reporting, leadership, welfare, emergency procedures, hazardous substances (chemicals asbestos etc); noise and vibration; fire, electricity; plant; working at height; excavations, utilities, confined spaces, temporary works, and environmental safety.
Full support from an assessor, who is a practicing HSE professional who has also completed this qualification.
